Strawberry, Basil & Brie Sandwich
Sweet strawberries, peppery basil and creamy brie combine to create the perfect bite for a sophisticated brunch. Resonating with Venus, and helping with intentions around money luck, I call it a win-win.
Servings: 2
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 full sprigs of basil about 6 leaves
- 6 thin slices of brie
- 4 thick slices of good French bread
- Butter
Combine the sliced strawberries, balsamic and honey in a small bowl. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight until the flavors blend together.
Grab 2 slices of bread and spread about ΒΌ cup of strawberry mixture over the top of one slice.
Butter the second slice of bread.
Stack 3 slices of brie on the buttered half.
Arrange basil leaves on top of brie to cover.
Assemble the sandwich by sticking both halves together, then cut in half and serve.
