Strawberry, Basil & Brie Sandwich

Sweet strawberries, peppery basil and creamy brie combine to create the perfect bite for a sophisticated brunch. Resonating with Venus, and helping with intentions around money luck, I call it a win-win.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 full sprigs of basil about 6 leaves
  • 6 thin slices of brie
  • 4 thick slices of good French bread
  • Butter

Instructions

  • Combine the sliced strawberries, balsamic and honey in a small bowl. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight until the flavors blend together.
  • Grab 2 slices of bread and spread about ΒΌ cup of strawberry mixture over the top of one slice.
  • Butter the second slice of bread.
  • Stack 3 slices of brie on the buttered half.
  • Arrange basil leaves on top of brie to cover.
  • Assemble the sandwich by sticking both halves together, then cut in half and serve.
