Tropical Summer Peach Margarita Cocktail Recipe

Peach Margarita

It’s the last week of spring, but I’m already in a summer mood. A tropical drink type summer mood. Prepping for the solstice next week, I’m in the mood for something beachy, fruity and fun. So what better than a Peach Margarita? Or better yet, call them Marsgaritas because Mars just recently entered Taurus. Taurus is ruled by Venus and so are peaches, so there you go. And just one sip and you’ll be singing, “Wasting away again in Margaritaville.”

Peaches are not just a summer staple, they are also a fruit of longevity. I added a touch of mint to promote both happiness and prosperity. And of course, the basis of the margarita is a mix of lemon/lime which resonates with the power of the sun and increases clarity of purpose, and enhances the longevity-inducing qualities of the peach. And tequila is there, because it’s Tequila. No seriously, Tequila is about the here and now, and living for the moment, which I think is what summer is all about. So cheers to the perfect drink to celebrate the summer solstice on June 20th.
