After a rather hectic month of May, where Mars sat in its own sign of Aries, it’s time to bring the energy down a little bit as Mars enters Taurus. It’s like you’re at a dance club and the music has shifted from EDM to Yacht Rock. It’s a dramatic change of tempo and it’s asking you to slow your roll.
Mars isn’t super happy in Taurus. It wants to act and forge ahead with courage and conviction. But Taurus says, “Hey, hold up. Let’s think about this a minute and plan our next move.”
And there’s the rub. Mars in Taurus asks us to contemplate what we are doing before diving headlong off a cliff. It wants to evaluate the task and see if it fits in with our long-range plans. Taurus wants security, stability and practicality above all else, things which Mars the Warrior doesn’t really care to consider. But it’s important. So really consider whether what you’re currently doing is serving its purpose to get you to where you want to go.
What’s in: Slow steady progress, long-term goal planning, directed action, carefully considered decisions, taking steps towards financial security.
What’s out: Impulse buying, jumping in head-first, frenetic movement, short term goals, instant gratification.
Mars will be in Taurus until July 20, 2024.
